I made 500 pages of Egyptian hieroglyphic words and phrases on a new blogger site. The idea is to use Blogger's search. So far it works well. I'm about 1/10 done. These are from Gardiner's first 10 chapters and were drawn in JShesh. I also have hand-drawn words and phrases and several other reliable sources.

Would you like to see? The new blogger site is here.

Not for nothing, google stopped tracking blog page views randomly yesterday and their email accounts are under heavy phishing attacks...and photo upload to blogs basically is crashing some systems.

Happy Friday Morning

Congrats, lewsar.

Glad tidings, lewsar, for 26 years.

Uh oh, it's July already, and our own 26th is comin' up in but a fortnight.

Thx fer the reminder!

KCFleming said...

Heeeeeyyy ....both of us at 26 years?

We ain't done gone and married the same woman?!?!

I had to do a little disappearing act last night on my folks here.

I had to do it for reasons that shall for the sake of gentlemenes remain unspoken..

Needless to say, I disposed of a bunch of the local currency, that btwng you and me, always felt like monopoly money.

36.86 x every one dollar.
I´m never quite sure when an opportunity is really readily at hand.. or the fate of the entire world (deskised as as massage) is at my disposal.

Brings me to the events of late last night.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

there was a young woman with a disastrous looking cell phone.

I had to do something about that and she readily agreed.

and then i found myself asking her to be a guest of the United States.. apparently my folks had smartened up by then and came as if in the nick of time b4 I did anything foolish.
It appears JB can do wonders when handled by a beautiful 22 year old Dominican woman.

Little did I know ;)

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

I do have her number and Hopefully she will not be picking up that miserable looking cell phone ever again.

Even if I have to sneak back into this country (unknown to the family)

I dont think there is nothing worst in the world than a good looking woman using an old, tired and obsolete cell phone.

God have mercy on our souls.

I know it was mentioned earlier by someone else, but Elin getting $750M kinda boggles my mind.

I travelled to Higuey - where I was baptised and legally registered as a baby, but alas on my own mothers account I was not born there.. If anybody knows where I was borned, she ought to.

According to the catholic church Higuey has one of the earliest catholic gigs going - so on account of that (foggy fact) the Dominicans tax payer built a huge cathedral in the province named after.. tata..
La virgen de la altagracia.. (the high grace virgin).. how could I.. a guest here all along.. refuse an invitation? an invitation that my mother miraculously cough up for her unwed, un whatever you call a son that has not given her a grandson... son.

Can I just add that the weather the past couple days here has been stellar? What a fabulous way to spend the night, when the temperature and humidity are just perfect: Sitting by the lake with friends, drinking a pitcher of Wisconsin's finest!

MadisonMan said...

And Happy Anniversary to lewsar and pogo!

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

I was grateful to go but not most graceful..

I would be lying if I didnt point out it was a long, long day.

I didnt grow up with my mother, so it might not be impressive to say that was the longest day I ever spent with my mother..

had you been there you would have felt it ;)

Married in 2004. Maybe someone can do an hourly wage. May not seem so boggly......

MadisonMan said...

Let's say it's 6 years: 2192 days, or 52608 hours.

$14250 per hour. That still boggling. More than $200 a minute.

Ka-ching. Ka-ching.

AllenS said...

Yeah, happy anniversary, you two.

KCFleming said...

Thx, MM.

I have often told mi esposa that were it not for her, I would be dead, broke, in jail, or some combination of the three.

At a minimum, I would be without 3 bambinos, 2 now adults and one a high school senior. Fortunately, none have my looks (proving God's grace).

KCFleming said...

Ditto, AllenS.

Ten minutes before the beginning of the wedding, my best man told me he had left the ring back home on the dresser.

We drove 2 miles and back very very fast. No one knew we were gone.
It was like James Bond, except with dorks, a rusted Chevy, and no danger except to ourselves.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

I hope to one day grow up to be a Madison Man ;)

I'm picturing this with the James Bond theme playing. (chuckle)

If it took you 10 minutes, that's $2000+ in Tiger/Elin time.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

Wath i tell you about Madison man?

KCFleming said...

The wedding day was beautiful, but it was a dark and stormy night. Really.

That proved only an omen for the honeymoon, not the marriage. (We only had like $320, so we drove to Kansas City, and well, it was closed.)

AllenS said...

Kansas City? She must have been relieved that it wasn't Des Moines. I guess.

There is news...

I´ve learned a few things about a man named Chavez.

For some reason the atropeyos perpetrated by this man.. this dictator is not news in the states.

He is passing a law that for all practical purposes encourages Venezuelans to turn on each other.

Chavez is creating so much fear in Venezuela, they no longer enjoy what we call free speech.

There is one station that refuses to knuckle under so he is jailing and intimidating their journalists.

People have no idea los estragos de Chavez.

I feel really bad for the people of Venezuela.

KCFleming said...

Heh.

$320 was our entire treasure, and we couldn't afford to take off work for more than 4 days.

KC was supposed to have jazz and ribs. The entire downtown was having some massive renovation that summer and literally blocks and blocks were closed. Hotels closed for a week. That week. Nothing was going on. We were practically the only people in the whole area, far as I could tell.

Shoulda gone to Council Bluffs.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

While we send money to Haiti and doing so gives us a shield.. the do the right thing shield.. Chaves has been given a free hand in our own hemisphere.

Shame on us.. shame on the US.. Shame on the Obama regime.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

The Chavez seed is germinating.. the reason why is the same as in any other weed... its methods are persistent as they are insidious.

When people no longer know the difference between their national liberator Luperon and Carl Marx.. there is in the general scheme of things somebody not looking out.

Somebody selling a bill of goods. Somebody getting away with shit.

and the United States of America, the one Reagan called the last best hope for man kind, not just letting it happened but by that sole act of disengagement, encouraging it.

I was thinking more of Laurel & Hardy's Cuckoos theme.

Obama´s foreign policy can be summed up in one word.. disengagement.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

The Meade is up!

I´m on my way to Puerto Plata.. I´m leaving politics.. for good ;)

I mean it this time.. this is the last time i speak on this matter..

Ive always strived to keep matters of state.. to insulate my family as much as possible.. as you know Woulf.. ;)

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

The Tiper/Gore get must in frenzy state.. maybe as much as the Tiger/wife get..

Who shall succumb first?.. Husbands and Wives..

I bet the bets are the wives will be on first... call me crazy.

Lem the artificially intelligent said...

I´m a tiger tiper..

Its a shame that once again the woman is been made a villain..

We have failed to properly and scientifically measure a sexual assault´s carbon footprint.

I think this is a major loophole in the way for womans equality in this country..

I´m just saying ;)

@Meade

Hmmmmm......

Curiouser and curiouser.

Is lewsar perchance a deliveryman?

dhagood said...

@pogo: yes, actually, i deliver refined petroleum products (no coarse gasoline to my customers!)

perchance are you the guy with the 10,000 gallon fuel tank in your basement?

dhagood said...

@edutcher, pogo, and MM: thanks for the kind wishes.

Ha ha! Congratulations to you both, Pogo and lewsar, on your long happy marriages AND your presumed good looks.
