I'm surprised that more porches don't collapse

So, Ann, you never did explain that photo at The Golden Cafe.

Is it a collage or a reflection or what?

Enquiring minds need data.

Two words come to mind when viewing your picture.

My niece was at a porch party in Chicago when the porch collapsed. About 30 were killed.

So what happened at The Big Game?

It looks like the cops are carding the two kids who are on the sidewalk. For now, one of them is smiling.

The "Big Game" does not involve Wisconsin or Nebraska, it's between Cal and Stanford.

These kids seem kind of too young themselves, but almost certainly the last generation of American youth that will worship at the alter of Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

"Ooh yeah!"

Congratulations Wisconsin.

Brewers win, Badgers win, today the Packers play... How about a trifecta?

For those still wondering about the picture at The Golden Cafe, Miss Ann posted an explanation there.

Thank you, Madame.

I watched part of the Nebraska-Wisconsin game. I believe that part of the football TV contract allows the university to promote itself.

Wisconsin's promotion included some hippie chick with HUGE earrings. She babbled on about how she will be a social worker, and change the world. She will set up non-profits for the good of the people.....and on, and on, and blah, blah, blah!

She's a special kind of stupid.

Why does she need a college degree to do social work?

Doesn't Wisconsin have an engineering department, or school of medicine?

Who in the hell approved promoting social work as the school highlight?

We had three visitors from Nebraska spend the weekend at out house-- interesting that they were all social workers--I guess they liked the ad, but not the outcome of the game.
