"Mothers still didn't like to see it, of course, and many tried to stop it."

"But it wasn't something to be stamped out without pity. And expert opinion, instead of telling mothers that they should panic, now told them the opposite. 'It nearly drove me crazy to see him do it,' a mother at the time says, 'but my doctor told me to just let it pass, so I did.'"

Is the topic not obvious?

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should do it. Perhaps self-moderating, responsible behavior (the prerequisite to enjoy liberty) begins with controlling our base urges.

Maybe the child is bored.

Today with children not allowed to go outside to play and having parents organize their activities, they don't know how to self-engage with something more constructive.

The destructiveness of masturbation is the wasted time, you could be doing something else.

My whole family did together at the table just before dinner every night. Don't tell me we were the only ones.

An so on...

You must have had a special long form technique, or be very very busy.

Because of the ready availability of internet pr*n, kids today see masturbation as something more like target practice.

I must raise a point of definition. If you did it together, it's not masturbation.

Did you abstain on meatloaf night?

As parents, we tend to fool ourselves into thinking that our worries are the right worries.

Not only that, but your worries demand government action and can be alleviated by federal public policies.

Let's face it, this whole mommyization of America is pathetically stupid.

The smart phone of today is the new form of masturbation. Just see 23 pictures-doomed link cited earlier today by Althouse.

Yep, just a Bagoh20 says...you can do it as a family group right at the table. Hooah!

Masturbation is not the only menace, any loss of precious bodily fluids is debilitating.

"Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Uh, Jack, Jack, listen... tell me, tell me, Jack. When did you first... become... well, develop this theory?

General Jack D. Ripper: [somewhat embarassed] Well, I, uh... I... I... first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love.

Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.

General Jack D. Ripper: Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I... I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence.

Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.
General Jack D. Ripper: I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh... women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh... I do not avoid women, Mandrake.

Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No.
General Jack D. Ripper: But I... I do deny them my essence."

Oh I see. You think your not a virgin anymore because of all those circle jerks. I guess I have to be the one to break the news, man. That's not really what it means to be a "playa".

Still, great memories - good friends. Nobody can take that away.

And then, if you have a child handy, let her clamber up onto your foot.

Not unless you are the actual bio-dad

any other adult male is automatically suspect as a molester

such is the over-wrought anxieties of today where even hugs or pats on the head are withheld out of fear

he's doing yantra years before it became popular. Yes he was bat shit crazy, but also, apparently a traulblazer. Denying the ejaculate, becoming multiorgasmic. Or at least that's what Sting might say.

Democrats were laughing about this in utero just this week. They'd put a stop to it by aborting the offender.

Please tell me you're joking, or maybe you believe that masturbation causes blindness.

I guess there is no beat-ing around the bush on this one.

Heheheh.

I hope everyone else notices that it's the women who are beating up on masturbation.

Because men learn early in life and never forget that if you can't count on a woman to take care of this you simply have to either pay for it or take the matter in hand. So to speak.

Renee said...

Alex, not joking.

Get a real hobby.

There are also quite a few men who'll help a bro out, if you know what I mean.
