Tenney Park?

If it is Tenney that park has tons of goose shit.

That's Olbrich. Can't you see the Golden Pavilion?

Does everybody agree with Prof. Instapoundit* that it is perfectly OK for the NSA to bug Angela Merkel's cell phone?

I'm cool with it as she's not a US citizen and not protected by our Constitution. I, on the other hand, am a US citizen. Regrettably, it's apparent that I'm not protected by our Constitution either.

I thought it would cost a fortune to switch from regular beef to grass fed beef. It doesn't. Difference in ground beef is 70 cents per pound. Difference in ribeye is $1.31 per pound. That's certainly a difference, but nothing approaching what I thought it would be. Plus, the grass fed place sells many different cuts of lamb. And they deliver for free. Sold.

@Freeman Hunt -- is there a noticeable taste difference?

Freeman Hunt said...

Don't know yet. They just delivered it. I'm going to make some tomorrow, so I'll let you know on the next cafe post after that.

Photo reminds me of one of lovelier places on the W&M campus, the Crim Dell bridge.

Same thought as Donna B! Enjoyed many a walk past there even after my daughter graduated 4 years ago. Something about bridges in park like settings makes us reflect!

She did use it for official business as well as to call her hubby, and she should have known better.
It is futile to argue about "OK," or not; if they can, they will - and that goes for yours and my phone as well as Angela Merkel's, Constitution or no Constitution.

Amazon, noticing that I bought a cpu fan for a Dell Latitude, suggests a cpu fan for a MacBook.

NSA can only dream of capability like that.

Freeman Hunt said...

Rh, you made me curious, so I checked. Amazon thinks that because I ordered a tent, I might like to order another one.

You can never have too many tents. You might want to occupy something.

Watching Fox News Sunday and listening to Rahm's brother at UPENN (who is now the Vice Provost) defend President Obama was horrific. Man, the POTUS does have s***** staff, as mentioned by Jofi Joseph, who resigned after this twitter feed on S. Powers and S. Rice (their incompetence).

Is POTUS Obama the least vetted man in our electoral history?

Is Obama's incompetence going to hinder or help Hillary!

I think Hillary! is a shoo-in. Their theme is: common ground.

Remember, it was Obama who said there is no such thing as blue or red states. He was going to be the Change Agent.

Will Hillary! be the Common Ground Queen?

Or, will GOP have the superb ticket: Scott Walker and Kelly Ayotte to save the day?

What's the story here?

Why doesn't the iPad have an SD card slot? How annoying. Why does Apple make expensive things that are great in some ways and moronic in others?

Which reminds me of Windows 8, or whatever this new one is. It should be called Windows Seizure, because every time you touch it, it registers "gestures" and flits through menus and screens. And you have to install a third party program to get the regular Start menu back.

Henry L. Stimson (September 21, 1867 – October 20, 1950) was an American statesman, who served as Secretary of War*, Governor-General of the Philippines, and Secretary of State at various times.

The only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him; and the surest way to make him untrustworthy is to distrust him and show your distrust.
The Bomb and the Opportunity (March 1946)

Gentlemen don't read each other's mail.
On Active Service in Peace and War (1948)

The only deadly sin I know is cynicism.
On Active Service in Peace and War (1948), Introduction

Trust, gentlemanliness, and existence of sin: Obsolete, old-fashioned stuff. Not practical for today's world, don 't all agree?
