The Gourds Must Be Crazy/The Farmers Must Look Like Movie Stars.

Two videos from the Dane County Farmers' Market:

In the second video, that's: Early Settlers Flower Farm.

Globeflowers? Are those dried and hollow, kind of like 'Chinese Lanterns?' The red ones were very nice...I think my mother had something like that. Are you making a cool display?

I grow the orange ones seen in the video, commonly known as Chinese Lanterns.

I'm only here for a few days, so all I bought was a small ash-covered, rosemary infused cheese and a pint of tiny multi-colored heirloom tomatoes, but the person I was with bought a lot of flowers, including the Chinese lanterns and globe flowers you see. You hear some talk in the video that relates to a fall wedding where there will be Chinese lanterns and the idea of bringing in globe flowers to go along with them. Personally, I think big hairy balls set just the right tone for a wedding, but I was holding my tongue.

Professor, I think you posted to the wrong thread…the holding of tongues with big hairy balls belongs in the gay marriage thread regarding Condi Rice…and not disrupting this nice discussion of out of your gourd expressionism…it just goes to show that you are a vegetable bigot, who refuses to let produce take their full and rightful place in our society….No justice, no peas.
