Liberty Tire.

... a building we rolled by ... as we left Cincinnati yesterday.

Classic racist American building.

No doubt the tires had smallpox.
Noting the "Liberty" clue, I interpret the Indian character as a Tea Party protester (of the original Boston Tea Party ilk).

That Indian character must be a Boston Tea Party protester, right? "Liberty" is the tip off.

Tea Party???

Racist fer shure.

Hope Ann and the Reefer Madness writer are enjoying the drive.

I helped build a 16x20 foot dock on the banks of the Mississippi last weekend. It was really fun. 8 guys, all standard testosterone humor. Could have been 40 years ago, save for the Milwaukee drills are now made in China, not Wisconsin.

I need a cuppa joe.

Painted advertising signs can be works of art. Sadly, they're seldom being done anymore.

Similar buildings down on South Main in Akron. Another example of Depression Art.

I thought that sort of thing went out with the 50s.

Lots of buildings in the South with "See Rock City" painted on them are still around.

I have a painting of a big spare tire on my house.

I saw the photo and read, "Liberty Tired."

Yesterday afternoon, the Madison Police Department deployed its bomb squad to investigate two suspicious package incidents.

Meanwhile, the local paper concurrently featured this story as its online headline.
