"The nipple mania is just a runway styling conceit."

"Our only issue (and it's really not that big an issue) is when a trend like this gets so saturated so quickly."

Saturated? Here, use these.

I'd much rather see something else exposed on these fashion models. Oh wait, that particular "something else" no longer exists :(

Man, those are some ugly broads.

Gives, "Let's take a closer look at those breasts", a whole nother dimension.

So to speak.

They all need to be marched down to McDonalds for a McDouble, a large order of fries and a shake. Or anything that they don't need their rear molars to chew with.

No sweetheart, I wasn't looking; those boobs are way too small for my tastes.

Or these.

Everyone's all a titter here.

Oops, two threads too low.

Ann Althouse said...

@Irene LOL. I wonder if one feels more "out there" or less with those things.

Irene said...

Althouse, I would say "out there."

In all senses of the phrase.

They should make those "Body Perks" cold-reactive. Or perhaps randomly perk-actuated.

But you're covering up your natural nipples. They aren't nipples. It's like wearing a naked suit. You don't feel as naked as if you were actually naked. Seems to me, those are pasties. Yes, they are prominent. But they are plastic/rubber. One's own nipples are actually nipples.

Are you happy to see me, or is it just cold in here.

I think one would feel "out there" even with the pasties because it calls attention to the nipples. One might not feel the same physical sensation, but the mental state would be the same.

I love womens' tits and nipples.

I think the entire bra experiment is way too constraining.

I want boobs free, flowing, loving life and ready to take on the world.

Tits.

The posture and the dead serious gaze of these models is hilarious.

Just about as funny as that now mandatory video shot for every movie and series... you know, the one where the assembled cast walks in slow dream-like motion toward the camera?

Just think how much different constitutional law would be if they used the term areola instead of penumbra.

Is this a last fling for the 1960s braless look? Well thanks for the mammaries.

GaudalkanalI haven't seen so many post-pubescent nipples since I walked into the girls' locker room at summer swim camp.

An interesting post that gives those of us interested in fashion design food for thought. From a fashion designer's viewpoint this style has the disadvantage of causing the viewer to not pay attention to the cut and style of the garment. Tits upstage just about everything in life.

Not even a B cup amongst them. Bah.

It’s a gender-specific affliction
A terrible male addiction
We love boobs
Never look above boobs
We ogle them
And Google them
We do surgery to advance them
And write poems to romance them…

They must have a fashion version of Journolist.

The seafoam turtle neck would have been more lovely had it been more opaque.

The smiley face dress looked as tho the model chose plastic when checking out at the grocery store, and the put the bag on.

Not much to see there. Maybe video would have been better.

Dude, they aren't even broad.

It doesn't really matter how much or how little a woman's clothing exposes, because we men can visualize exactly what's underneath. It's in our nature. It doesn't matter if a woman has her nipples poking out through her blouse or covered with little pasties to keep them from poking out, we know that they are there. Although realistically, most women could use a little support.

As far as sheer clothing goes, though, there's a time and place for it. This morning at the grocery store, I saw a Latina woman in some sheer pants that made it clear that she was wearing black panties underneath. I liked the view, but it was probably inappropriate.

"But [the Body Percs] are covering up your natural nipples..."

So unimaginative. You can put them in random places. Three per boob if you want. Talk about being treated like a bitch.

They all have that scrawny like Obama look.

Great. How long til women start getting nipple implants? "Doctor, I need them to be pointier and harder."

Visible nipples are awesome, but I'd like this phenomenon more if the fashion models in question actually had breasts.
