"Adesanya angrily fought back against the dogs — punching, kicking and body-slamming the feisty pooches..."

"... before the [Secret Service] agents descended on him."
Adesanya was taken to a local hospital and the two dogs were taken to a vet for injuries sustained during the pummeling they took from the fence-climber.

Just looking at the article linked, why does this look like a false flag?

1. restores some credibility to the Secret Service

2. plants the seed that it was a crazy right winger (impeach OBAMA!) - except I've been told by so many liberals that there are no blacks who are conservatives or tea partiers

3. his friends didn't see it coming?

Weird. I'm betting someone who needs medication. But it's odd that so many minorities have tried to get at this president.

Maybe this guy also figures that Obama is a closet Conservative.

Did these dogs give affirmative consent to having to fight criminals?

Hopefully they tack on animal abuse charges against the stupid SOB.

pouches 1, jumper 0? au contraire, mon frere It's THE DOGS that are laid up in the vet hosp. licking their wounds--the jumper is 'JES FINE. I thought these were the kind of guard dogs that would rip one's flesh off and tear one limb from limb. Some ferocious beasts they turned out to be--time for them to turn in their widdle doggie SS badges, lol.

What is it about America that has so many people going after the President? Not just Obama mind you although for many he is the beginning of history. I think Britian has only had one Prime Minister assassinated.

Virgil.

Guard dogs are trained to drag down and restrain opponents, not eat them alive.

Not an expert on the philosophy of guard dogs, but what I saw here is that the dogs delayed him and diverted his focus away from the men long enough that he was apprehended. I guess that's better than ripping his throat out, at which point do-gooders would call for an end to guard dogs at the White House because they're "inhumane". Sounds like a good tactic. Sorry the dogs were hurt, though. Maybe they need to respond in a more coordinated fashion, so the intruder would be immobilized by two from the rear while one dog is getting kicked in front.

Do we know yet what this guy's political leaning is?

They were not 'pooches'. They were ATTACK DOGS (and for good reason.)

But to call the 'pooches' is to try to make them look like puppy dogs who were just wagging their tails.

Personally they just need a few snipers who can hit running targets quickly.

That would send a message to future fence jumpers.

Irene said...

"Pooches?"

Okay, the story calls them "feisty," but "[P]ooches?"

Paul said...

Fritz,

Well they SHOULD be trained to eat them alive.

Like I said, sends fence jumpers a message.

You make it sound like affirmative action for weak, ineffective dogs. Which, given the current administration, isn't too hard to believe.

Yes, if you want to seriously deter fence jumpers, get some 4-legged land sharks that'll attack without mercy, and then release the video of the results.

PETA will demand death penalty on the intruder for assaulting the dogs. Meanwhile, the guy will plead innocent, claiming that he is just tenderizing the dogs for Obama's supper.

Brando said...

Maybe if they had a "no quarter" policy re: White House intruders, and let the dogs finish him off, it'd discourage these copycat nuts. It's not like someone can "accidentally" wander onto the White House grounds.

Plus, it'd give the tourists a show.

Even trespassers and intruders have the right to sue to recover damages for injuries sustained in a dog attack, especially when attacked by a pack of 2 or more trained attack dogs.

Skeptical Voter said...

Like every other Obama response to an attack, the dogs were weak and ineffectual. At least this time they were unleashed.

Two dogs--one for the forearm, the other for the groin, and the intruder should be speaking falsetto for the rest of his life. Now that would be a well trained response. But I assume Obama has cut the training budget for the guard dogs, just as he's cut the training budget for the military. Next cut will be in the dog chow budget. Gotta save money somewhere to pay for Mooch's next imperial vacation.

What dumbass thinks this is a good idea? Probably the same dumbass who thinks that a criminal who get injuried while committing a crime has the basis for a lawsuit against the crime victim. I know of cases where criminals have sued and even won. It's a disgrace.

It amazes me that we allow people to be mauled by dogs as a means to subdue. And if you fight back you're assaulting a police officer.

You may not know PETA very well, but as I understand it they view any use of animals as exploitative and think it's better for domesticated animals to be killed than to continue a life of slavery to humans. I'm sure they'd object to the intruder's assaulting the dogs, but I suspect they'd think it would be better for the dogs to be put down than for them to be put back to work.

Brando said...

All joking aside, someone committing a crime doesn't exactly give the police carte blanche to do whatever they want to him. But someone willing to infiltrate White House grounds is not taken lightly, and considering the circumstances it's not unreasonable for the Secret Service to shoot at the intruder.

It's not like running onto the field at a football game.

ARM and Cookie wet themselves over calls to take down the the last intruder, they'll be apoplectic over setting dogs on them.

"Assaulting a police officer" -- perfect. I have a cousin who adopted Jack, a retired K-9 Malinois. 418 felony take-downs (that is, felons on the ground, "restrained"). Commendations up the wazzoo.

I'm not a robot! Wait, you want me to prove it?

Back to the post. I agree with Ed Koch to let wolves control graffiti vandals. Or at least bring back the stocks for them.

As to the latest White House fence jumper it points out to all the bad guys how easy this has become.

What would stop a heavily armed highly trained group of taking out the White House. It seems security is easily overwhelmed. Twenty of so guys, CIA trained types, ginned up with a cause to lay waste to one of our greatest national symbols.

Perhaps it is time to house the president and his family in an Army barracks, like Fort Drum or Fort Hood where their safety would be more easily managed. They could eat in the mess with the enlisted men and women, drive around in an armored vehicle, a tank maybe, and we could furlough all those useless uniformed secret service officers back in Washington D.C. I mean other than killing a young woman, Miriam Carey, shot five times in the back, while her baby sat in the back seat of her car, what have DC security forces done lately?

I think a pack of wolves in Central Park would bring a little badly needed sense of rural living to New York.

One of the things I discovered reading this book is that wolves suck. At least if you're talking about dog sledding. Dogs are way better than wolves.

If you've seen this movie, dogs are fearless. It's a frickin' bear, man. Dog does not care.

Here is a documentary about a dog going one-on-one, fight to the death with a mountain lion twice its size.

Killed it.

The usual delusional nonsense.

I argued that it was not a failure that they didn't kill him. Incredibly this was considered a controversial position in this particular forum.

The first dog ran up, was kicked in the head and turned away. A poorly trained dog, but look who he works for. The second dog was more willing but WAS leashed (film on Fox News), held back at the point of attack and unable to fully engage the fence jumper who threw the dog down and punched it in the head several times. The secret Service needs larger, better trained attack dogs. A well trained 90 pound German Shepard would not be so easily stymied. The Secret Service dogs were much smaller than that.
