Apple is an interesting story related to Wayne State dropping all Math requirements and substituting Diversity courses instead.

Tim Cook is what you get when Diversity replaces Math.

The Idaho story is horrific. If true, I doubt even our MSM will be able to keep it under wraps forever.

If Trump get elected it will be due to reality seeping in. Drudge is just a messenger.

I personally am amazed by the lack of Zika coverage and government's horrible response.

When 100 Zika babies are born in PR, maybe people will wake up. Zika will doubly bankrupt PR. An avoidable tragedy.

The stunning thing is that there is a proven solution. GMO mosquitos sold by Oxitec, a sub of XON. But the FDA hasn't given it full approval and loons in Key West are trying to block it. No vaccines for at least a year. Spraying is ineffective.

Buy XON through the Althouse AMZN portal.

Is there any evidence Drudge may be angling for site hits?

Reality is trying to get Trump elected.

Hillary supporters are doing their best to hide reality.

Trying to get Trump elected.

Drudge has been a huge Trump booster since the beginning. Trump is Drudge's absolute dream candidate:

1) Trump ostensibly leans a bit right and has that anti-establishment air about him

2) Trump is always saying outrageous, sensational stuff that's perfect for headlines

3) Trump has that Hollywood republican vibe, the entertainment factor

Did anybody figure out why the 911 tape is under Lynch's control and not the Orlando authority's?

It is the same (upper-right) position where Matt Drudge was trolling his readers with three "Gays harassed for supporting Trump" "Trannys for Trump" and "Gay firearms purchases up" headlines late last week. (Headlines paraphrased; you need to wade through the Trump archives for the links and headlines.)

He's trying to get people to wake the hell up.

In other news, the Indonesian Navy has been firing on Chinese fishing boats in disputed waters.

Doing the job the MSM won't do. Evidently the most important news today per the MSM is:

1. Trump fires campaign manager
2. Venezuelans storm stores
3. Justices turn away Connecticut gun law

Really.

The biggest Zika coverage I've seen is Obama asking for about $1.6 billion and Congress not approving it. I've seen nothing about how Obama plans to spend that money to fight Zika, just a price tag. Does he have concrete proposals, such as increased funding for mosquito spraying, or is this yet another slush fund to funnel money to favored cronies who in turn can be counted on to make large donations to the DNC?

I have. He gave $500 million to "fight climate change."

You need to add an option that says "Showing that the Obama Administration is mostly a lying clusterf*ck which works hard to protect anyone but the American people".

The Daily Beast made the point six months ago about The Drudge Report slant:

The Drudge Report is as huge as ever: Around 700 million visitors a month.
And what they [the visitors] have been getting for the last six months is a steady stream of pro-Trump agitprop.

And nothing has changed since at Matt's house.

Bill Gates backs a competitor of Oxitec and even it is not getting much government traction.

DIS should buy Oxitec to protect Orlando.

If journalists reported news instead of narratives, a lot more news stories would look like this.

Don't know if the Idaho story is true; but the recently I heard a report on the BBC news program carried by the local NPR station here (so you know it's Left-on-Left coverage) about the rape crisis in one of the northern European countries that have had a lot of Syrian refugees move in. I think it might have been Denmark or Sweden. The reporter waa talking to some European woman whose job it is, basically, to Teach Muslims Not to Rape. A serious subject, but I found it amusing how the BBC reporter and the European dealt with it. Both the reporter and the anti-rape tutor agreed that we should not be imposing Western values on the Syrians, in teaching them not to rape. They sounded as bubble-headed and useful-idiot-y as Miriam on this blog. You know, you wouldn't want those Syrian males to get the idea we think a culture that apparently widely countenances rape is in any way superior to a culture where rape is a crime.

The NYT had a little blurb on Department of Jokers releasing the Orlando tapes, but no mention of the censorship.

And:
google [site:nytimes.com "orlando" "911" "tapes" "redacted"]
About 0 results

"About 144 results" (40 actual) after redacting "redacted".

SukieTawdry said...

The Lynch story has been moved to the top:

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ron Hopper defended the deletions.

"[Mateen] does not represent the religion of Islam, but a perverted view," Hopper said, later adding: "Part of the redacting is meant to not give credence to individuals who have done terrorist attacks in the past. We're not gonna propagate their violent rhetoric."

The Syrian "refugees" in Idaho better learn that they are not among multiculturalists willing to make, or accept, allowances for "cultural differences." And that there is a large contingent of Idahoans perfectly willing to take matters into their own hands:

The police took 2 and a half hours to arrive but were unable to take any action due to the “language barrier”.

When she arrived, the mother of the alleged rapists was only able to say “no police,” while the father reportedly congratulated his 13-year-old son. Video of the entire assault was captured on the boy’s cellphone.

Everything seemingly is spinning out of control.

SukieTawdry said...

Did anybody figure out why the 911 tape is under Lynch's control and not the Orlando authority's?

It's a federal investigation. According to the US Attorney for the district, the redactions do not conflict with Florida law.

Sukie Tawdry,

I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. I thought people there had common sense and knew the difference between right and wrong, but it appears that they have adopted the willful stupidity that is required as a survival skill in the Age of Obama.

For the Twin Falls City Council and the police who dragged their feet coming to the aid of this little girl, I wish this fate on your own family members. The Georgia ACLU leader who encountered men in the women's loo, scaring her young children, resigned when reality hit home. It needs to hit home for these people, hard. It might stop if the Obama family had to live with the consequences of Obama's stupidity regarding "refugees".

Illegal immigration. Refugee crises. Exodus. Not because of a leftist ruler, but because of an international leftist conspiracy that pursues anti-native policies for profits, leverage, and to defeat domestic competitors. Oh, well. Survival of the fittest. The dodos invite their own extinction in exchange for liberal doses of opiates.

n.n said...

The diversity promoted by anti-native factions is actually class diversity, including: racism, sexism, etc. It is a religious (i.e. moral) policy established by the pro-choice church that denigrates individual dignity and promotes prejudice.

Drudge highlights certain stories that the MSM is loathe to cover. That's his brand, and that's why he gets so many hits.......There aren't a lot of members in the MSM who wonder why they've gotten so many stories wrong over so many years. I don't know if that story in Idaho is true or not, but it's the kind of story that the MSM has had a past history of covering up.

What is coming here is the complicity of the police with the terrorists and rapists.

I was in Britain a year or so ago when I read of a homeowner who had had enough of "Yobs" throwing rocks through his windows. He ran outside and took off after them with a stick.

The homeowner was arrested.

Fox newsflash, FBI releasing uncensored transcripts. Rope-a-dope or did they finally catch themselves?

I understand that there is a Federal investigation. Does that mean Florida or some local authority can't release copies of the tapes themselves? I'm curious how this works. Say I had a document that some Federal authority demanded I hand over as evidence. Say I copied it first. Can I post it on the web? Does there have to be a judge's order to keep me from doing so?

On Drudge now -

BOOK: Hillary Clinton called disabled children 'f***ing ree-tards'...
Jews 'stupid k***s'...
Bill called Jesse Jackson 'damned n****r'...

Michael K said...

Even TPM figured out this was stupid.

The department said in a statement that the purpose of releasing redacted versions of the transcripts was to provide transparency while remaining sensitive to the victims' families and survivors.

"We also did not want to provide the killer or terrorist organizations with a publicity platform for hateful propaganda," the statement said. "Unfortunately, the unreleased portions of the transcript that named the terrorist organizations and leaders have caused an unnecessary distraction from the hard work that the FBI and our law enforcement partners have been doing to investigate this heinous crime."

An unnecessary distraction from the narrative. Stupid is as stupid does.
